Who it is for

Operations, finance, and planning leads who inherit a monthly or weekly report that “usually matches” the warehouse, CRM, or billing system — until a meeting proves otherwise. The atlas is for teams that need one shared drawing of the route, not another spreadsheet of definitions.

Result

You leave with a large-format path map, a handoff ownership table, and a short briefing deck. Each gateway on the map shows what enters, what leaves, who presses the button, and whether the meaning of a field changes at that stop.

Scope included

• Intake interview covering up to eight systems or file drops that feed one named report
• Shadowing or call-based tracing of each handoff with the people who run it
• Draft atlas for review, one structured revision round, and a final print-ready PDF plus PNG tiles for a wall
• Live walkthrough (on-site in Petaling Jaya or remote) lasting up to ninety minutes

Scope excluded

• Building or rewiring pipelines, APIs, or databases
• Ongoing monitoring subscriptions
• Redesigning the underlying report layout (see Chart Path Redesign)

Provider and process

Led by a Logic Gateway Path mapping analyst with a second reviewer for label consistency. Timeline typically runs three to five weeks from signed intake to walkthrough, depending on how many owners must be interviewed.

Preparation

Before week one, share a recent copy of the target report, a list of source systems, and the names of people who trigger exports or approvals. We send a one-page intake sheet; incomplete answers slow the trace more than wrong answers.

Constraints

Paths with more than twelve distinct handoffs or heavily regulated data may need a split atlas. We will say so after intake rather than compress labels until they become unreadable.

Pricing basis

Quoted after intake. Complexity is driven by number of systems, number of human checkpoints, and whether field meanings change mid-path. A deposit holds the start date; the balance is due before the final walkthrough files are released.
