Short pieces on what we actually see in originated buy-now-pay-later applications. These are not product announcements.

Identity, income, existing commitments, the customer-facing terms actually shown, and a decision record that can be replayed. If one of these is missing, the file is already telling you something.

Scorecards rank risk. They do not, on their own, show that a particular instalment was workable for the person standing at the till.

The till workflow can force every field to be filled. It cannot show who held the phone, who explained the late fee, or whether the customer understood they were opening credit.

Internal codes, customer-facing letters, and the policy that was live on the origination date should tell the same story. In many samples they do not.

A cooling-off right that exists in the terms but cannot be found in the file is a disclosure finding. A cancellation that is treated as a goods return is a different finding again.

A usable sample is not a zip of PDFs. It is a frame, a policy pack with dates, and files that still look like they did on origination day.
