BNPL can look simple at the till and dense in the terms. The audit question is not whether a PDF exists in a repository. It is whether this customer, on this day, in this channel, was shown the version the file relies on.

We line up screen-shots, script cards, and document hashes against timestamps in the application record. Where a merchant used a shortened explanation, we say so. Where cooling-off was described as a return policy for goods rather than a right attached to the credit, we say so.

Add-on insurance, extended warranty, and ‘skip a payment’ features are included when they were offered in the same flow. They change the instalment load and the disclosure story.

The output is a set of gaps that legal and operations can close without waiting for a full system rebuild.
